Max Weber

1.     He advocated that there should be well-defined
regulations and authority in organizations. Weber perceived three types of
administration, namely traditional, charismatic and bureaucratic. In
traditional organization, managerial positions are handed down from one
generation to the other irrespective of intelligence, knowledge and experience.
In charismatic organizations, management functions are not delegated and all
the employees are considered to be the loyal subjects of a leader. In
bureaucratic organizations, a person is given a managerial responsibility as
per their capability. This was the ideal one for all organizations.
