UGC Releases List of Fake Universities [Critical Alert for Students and Parents]

In a letter issued by the UGC to the State Government’s Department of Higher Education of India, it was highlighted that several institutions have been identified as fake universities. These institutions are not recognized under Section 2(f) or Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, and are engaged in the business of conferring degrees without proper authorization.
