The Ministry of Education has announced the NIRF Rankings 2024 on August 12, 2024, at 3 PM. This ninth edition of the rankings is now available on the official NIRF website.
In 2023, there were in all 13 categories in subject domains. In 2024, 3 new categories are added, Namely Open Universities, State Public Universities and Skill Universities. Thereby expanding the portfolio of Indian Rankings from 13 in 2023 to 16 in 2024.
These rankings are not merely statistics; they represent the hard work, dedication, and quality that characterize our educational institutions.
Students, parents and education enthusiasts were keenly expecting the release of National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) rankings of 2024. Making admission related decisions are based on the NIRF ranking of these institutions.
The NIRF evaluates institutions based on various parameters which include:
- Teaching, Learning and Resources (30%)
- Research and Professional Practice (30%)
- Graduation Outcome (20%)
- Outreach and Inclusivity (10%)
- Perception (10%)
